Soghra Khurasani's works examine the representation of women in visual culture and the gradual loss of voices of socially threatened minorities in India. She primarily works within the medium of printmaking. The works express her contemplation of the female body as a sight of both violence and fecundity, which she expresses through the metaphor of landscapes.
