TARQ and Papernautic Studio are delighted to announce a paper-cutting workshop that ties in with the gallery's exhibition 'An unquiet mind' by Youdhisthir Maharjan.
Starting with the simplest techniques and practice with paper-cutting tools, Samir Bharadwaj will introduce participants to the two major methods of paper-cut art. Participants will be taught how to create their own pieces using a selection of elements and motifs from nature and the city of Mumbai.
This will be followed by a demonstration of how to assemble pieces to create imagery of birds or to mix and match elements to create fantasy creatures. Every participant will be able to create their own works of art and leave with a paper-cut art piece of their own creation.
