BombayDuckDesigns is an illustration design studio founded in 2008 by Sameer Kulavoor and currently directed & run by Zeenat Kulavoor. BDD has worked on a wide range of projects for MNCs to Rock bands, locally and globally, besides actively working on & self publishing Zines & Books for over a decade. They now have an art+design shop adjacent to the design studio in Mazgaon, Mumbai, where they showcase and sell select books, artprints, zines, magazines, design objects by artists across the world.
In this workshop, BombayDuckDesigns will present a range of zines & books from their collection by artists & creators worldwide followed by their own publications, with insights from their experience in self publishing. Participants will then be creating a unique zine of their own guided by BombayDuckDesigns using a completely hands on analog process that includes drawing, collage, pagination and binding.
