About the panellists:
Anurag Tyagi manages the Indian operations of an international luxury fashion house. He discovered his passion for art, cinema and literature as a student at Delhi University, where he graduated with an Honours in English Literature. His interest in cultural theory brought him closer to the arts, and during his early career as a TV journalist he interviewed several artists and profiled galleries. Anurag has enjoyed collecting artworks from emerging and established artists for the past four years.
Natasha Jeyasingh is a Mumbai based art consultant and founder of Carpe Arte, a platform that encourages people to engage with and support contemporary art. She works with people to help them discover the art they love and build their collections. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Art, Chandigarh, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Design from the National Institute of Design, (NID) Ahmedabad. Her firm belief that art is a necessity, has initiated collaborations to make galleries, artist studios and conversations about art more accessible. In this capacity she was a part of the India Art Fair’s ‘Young Collector Program’ to talk about collecting art and how to get started. She has worked with many private collectors in India, Dubai and France, to build their personal collections, handling entire projects from selection to installation and documentation. She is currently working on a public art project based in Delhi and hopes to galvanize the audience outreach for the contemporary art and design scene through pop-up exhibitions, interactive projects and dialogues around the subject.
