These are the stories or in a way history of the people connected or lived in his family's two ancestral homes. He has titled the work histories/stories because the distinction between story and history is somehow vanishing. There are 7 works in this series and each work is a visualization of certain historic moments connected with the artist's ancestors. He has tagged individuals, objects and places in the work so it will be identified.
In this work what you witness is a construction of a pond. This is one of the first work his ancestors did after settling into the new place. They built a new pond near the first settlement. New pond means 'Puthankulam' in his native language. So this is how his entire family identified later on with the house name of 'Puthankulam'.Literature
