The ‘Reading Room’ is a journey of discoveries and experiences, of nostalgia and witness; a space where the many and varied perspectives and practices of the book arts find a place of meeting, dialogue and expression.

The show looks into Soghra's complex practice, which revolves around her visceral reaction to the political and religious realities of being in India today. She keeps returning to the imagery of blood cells in her work, and thus systematically blurs the lines between powerful emotions and biological reality.
